Ruth Bridges | Jewellery Designer & Maker
Ruth Bridges is a jewellery designer and maker with over 20 years experience crafting her own collections as well as working for some of Brighton's top jewellery workshops including Jeremy Hoye and Brass Monkeys. Her work is influenced by nature: the beach and mathmatical maps are present across her collections.
Having had her current brand for more than 21 years Ruth asked me to refresh and modernise her logo to reflect her next chapter and new work. The abstract icon was inspired by Ruth’s organic influences and aims to echo a necklace, a bangle and a ring, all of which feature in her key collections.
The soft green colour palette complements her collections and sets her website and social sites apart from her peers.
We both wanted to make some planet conscious decisions when it came to packaging and printed materials so I suggested a flyer + business card + order note card hybrid-in-one and a deboss logo imprint on the packing so it can be recycled.
